Tried this for three days.... got so sick I had to stop. I've now not taken it for two days and I *still* feel weird! I wonder how long it will take to get it out of my system?
Based on all of the horror stories of withdrawal that I read on another forum, at least I knew enough not to stay on it any longer than that. Now I'm convinced it was the right thing to do. Blech. I barely remember anything from the three days I was on it... |

The first two days of not taking it I still felt very spacey, slightly nauseous, my face and neck muscles felt twitchy and achy. I got completely constipated after only 3 days on the drug (it took four days off it for that to resolve itself) so I cannot imagine what happens to people after months or years. Today, the fourth day off it, I feel mostly better but my facial/jaw muscles still feel a little strange. At least I'm not nauseous anymore and can eat. I'll start on 2.5mg of Lexapro on Monday or Tuesday, after I feel like this is out of my system completely. |
